I wouldn't give bioware this much credit really. Indoc theory has never been a good fit, it was just a method of denial in the endings. Generally indoctrination theory has gone from 'we're clearly right' to 'we should of been right', but it still doesn't fit with how indoctrination has been shown or discribed. Or rather to accept indoctrination theory you have to ignore the majority of the information upon indoctrination, how indoctrination has worked in every single example we're shown, and cherry pick evidence to support the case. Yeah I have done the Synthesis and Control options which was why I didn't get "living shep" my current actual is somewhere around 7k my effective is 6.2 ish k atm doing a replay from Cerberus station and am on approach to earth so guess I will choose destroy reapers option this time so I get mah living shepard bitīit shitty to wipe out the Geth too after they helped in the final battle (if they did for you) The 'control Reaper' and 'synthesis' options won't have that additional scene even with max EMS for obvious reasons.Īlso make sure that 5000+ is EMS, not just base military strength before multiplied by the readiness %. I have EMS well over 5000 and have never seen the scene with the N7 dog tags and "shepard breathing in" am I missing something here or is that site you linked trolling? Quite happy with my ending apart from geth and edi though and what the fuck is up with joker and co in the middle of nowhere? you then hear sheppard gasp in air and start to breath and the chest starts moving. and i got a small cutscene where it zooms on a burnt up chest piece of armor with N7 dogtag on it. then picked the destroy reapers option even though i felt majorly bad for the geth as they only had their freedom long enough for sheppard to exploit it. shot TIM before he killed anderson and got the anderson i love you child death speech. Regarding Elwe Singollo's question on the additional part of the ending concerning the fate of Shepard as quoted below : * except the 5000+ readiness level ending where Shep apparently does live? I expected at the very least to be able to speak to my love interest one more time over radio :'( Being dead in all* cases doesn't exactly make it easy to find out either, even with DLC that's sure to follow. You know that Joker and 2 random squadmates survived, but beyond that nothing. It also doesn't help that you've got zero clue as to the fate of pretty much everyone you've come across at the conclusion. to stop the cycle of synthetics killing organics". "We created synthetics (Reapers) to kill organics. What stung though more than the "whatever you choose the only thing that changes is the explosion colour" is that the logic of the ending doesn't stand up to even the most rudimentary scrutiny. It really felt that Bioware wrote themselves into a corner trying to make it so everyone would see the whole game in spite of whatever choices they had made that they had to introduce some new character to spout nonsensical gibberish to the player. Whilst I'm not going to accuse Bioware of killing my dreams the ending felt like a total deus ex machina. I had the ending (regards the kid) spoiled by a YouTube vid comment when all I wanted to do was listen to the kickass soundtrack :(

I see that you play Leo, so scroll down and select "(1) Leo Kliesen" option (do not turn on the "(m) Leo Kliesen" just yet), get back into the game and go to the practice mode. Inside this menu you will find the moveset codes currently available for each character. Tick the box and press escape again to return to the menu, here you will see the newly enabled cheat option. When you are in the game's menu press escape to get in the ppsspp's pause menu and go to settings/system and scroll down, till you see the enable cheats option. When this is done, download the modified iso that I linked (this is important as the datapack only works with this modified version) and start the game. After this, just get the datapack and extract its contents in the memstick folder. The whole proccess is just to install ppsspp (preferably version 1.12.3) and start it, so the program generates a memstick folder in the root folder. Im not sure what is happening on your end, can you post a pic? The cheat.db files are in the datapack already. If you want to run your existing solutions with the 64-bit versions of Office, be aware of the following: The size (in bytes) of the pointer or handle depends on whether you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit system. This is expected to be a common issue when you have existing Microsoft ActiveX controls and existing add-ins. VBA previously didn't have a pointer data type, so you had to use 32-bit variables to store pointers and handles. These variables now truncate 64-bit values returned by API calls when using Declare statements. VBA 7 replaces the VBA code base in Office 2007 and earlier versions. It provides two conditional compilation constants: VBA 7 is available in both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Office. VBA7 - Helps ensure the backward compatibility of your code by testing whether your application is using VBA 7 or the previous version of VBA. Win64 Tests whether code is running as 32-bit or 64-bit. With certain exceptions, the macros in a document that work in the 32-bit version of the application also work in the 64-bit version. If you don't have the source code, contact the vendor for an updated version. If you have the source code, generate a 64-bit version yourself.ActiveX control and COM add-in compatibilityĮxisting 32-bit ActiveX controls, are not compatible with the 64-bit versions of Office. Native 64-bit processes in Office cannot load 32-bit binaries. This includes the common controls of MSComCtl (TabStrip, Toolbar, StatusBar, ProgressBar, TreeView, ListViews, ImageList, Slider, ImageComboBox) and the controls of MSComCt2 (Animation, UpDown, MonthView, DateTimePicker, FlatScrollBar). These controls were installed by 32-bit versions of Office earlier than Office 2010. You'll need to find an alternative for your existing VBA solutions that use these controls when you migrate the code to the 64-bit versions of Office. #Excel data analysis add in does it work with 64 bit code# The combination of VBA and type libraries gives you lots of functionality to create Office applications. However, sometimes you must communicate directly with the computer's operating system and other components, such as when you manage memory or processes, when working with UI elements linke windows and controls, or when modifying the Windows registry. #Excel data analysis add in does it work with 64 bit windows#

The video for "Sun" had made its debut on the band's YouTube channel on 11 October 2012.įollowing the release of Beacon, the band released a four-part tour documentary entitled What We See. In early October 2012, it was announced that the second single to be released from Beacon was to be "Sun" which was released on 18 November. "Sleep Alone" was also featured in the EA Sports game, FIFA 13. The accompanying music video for the single was uploaded to the band's YouTube channel on 8 August. On 19 July 2012, "Sleep Alone" was selected as the lead single from Beacon and a "Sleep Alone" SoundCloud player was embedded on the NME site, allowing readers to listen to the single on 19 July 2012 however, the single was not officially released until 21 July. Jacknife Lee, responsible for producing artists such as U2, R.E.M., Snow Patrol and Bloc Party, produced the album. On 20 June 2012, the band announced Beacon as the title of their second studio album, along with a release date of 3 September 2012 in the UK and 4 September elsewhere. In April 2012, the band's official account revealed that a second album was near completion. On 18 January 2011, Two Door Cinema Club appeared on the American late night talk show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, performing the song, " What You Know", which later became their biggest hit of the record. The album was also preceded by the singles " Something Good Can Work", " I Can Talk" and " Undercover Martyn". The album, entitled Tourist History, was released on 26 February 2010 in the Republic of Ireland, 1 March 2010 in the United Kingdom and 27 April 2010 in the U.S. In January 2010, Two Door Cinema Club announced the track listing and details of the band's debut album in an interview with NME. In September 2009, the band began mixing the record with Phillipe Zdar at Motorbass, Zdar's studio in Paris. In July 2009, Two Door Cinema Club began recording its debut album at Eastcote Studios in London, with Eliot James. For the tenth anniversary of the EP, the band publicly released it in March 2018. The EP was self-recorded and produced and was mixed and mastered by Ryan Mitchell. History Early releases and Four Words to Stand On (2007–2009) Īn EP entitled Four Words to Stand On was released on 26 March 2008 and received attention on a number of websites. Following an increased interest in the band's social network page, the three members forwent their university places and commenced work on studio material. The new band's name was taken from Halliday's mispronunciation of the name of the local cinema, the Tudor Cinema in 2007, Two Door Cinema Club was formed. An interim drummer by the name of Owen Bullington was appointed but was kicked out due to creative differences. Trimble, Halliday and Baird formed another band shortly after the demise of their first musical project on this occasion, a permanent drummer was not included. Life Without Rory recorded three demos before disbanding the first, "Safe in Silence" and the second, "Conscripted By Choice" are still on the band's inactive MySpace page, while the third "You Missed the Point" can be viewed on YouTube. The three first performed as a band at the age of 16 on ATL Rock School under the name Life Without Rory the band finished in last place. Trimble and Halliday first met while attending Bangor Grammar School the pair later met Baird while he was flirting with girls who were known to his future bandmates. In the following years, they have become a frequent sight at festivals like Reading and Leeds Festival and Glastonbury. Their fourth album False Alarm released on 21 June 2019 and featured the singles "Satellite" and "Talk". Two more singles, "Bad Decisions" and the title track "Gameshow" were released prior to the album and are also included on the track list. The first single, " Are We Ready? (Wreck)" was released on 14 June 2016 and was debuted on Annie Mac's Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1. The band's third album Gameshow was released on 14 October 2016. The band's second album Beacon was released on 3 September 2012, debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart and reached number two in the UK Albums Chart. Tourist History was selected for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year (2010) the following year. In the United States, where the band are signed to Glassnote Records, the album was released on 27 April 2010. The band's debut album, Tourist History, was released on 1 March 2010 by French independent record label Kitsuné Music. The band formed in 2007 and is composed of three members: Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beats, synths), Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Kevin Baird (bass, synths, backing vocals). Unfortunately, my group has been playing these games over Discord, where it’s a lot harder to direct conversations to one other person without disrupting everyone else. It’s a game designed to be chaotic, forcing players to both work together, and undermine each other, which would be exactly the kind of convoluted, messy gameplay that would liven up any party. In this game, players have to coordinate to accomplish tasks in the totally normal home where devils are pretending to be human. Although it seems that, much like a lot of things in 2020, it’s a victim of circumstance. If there’s one game that did actually bomb (for my groups, anyway), it was The Devil and the Details. Overall it just flows better and feels more like a proper ending to the game. Instead, Quiplash 3 gets rid of this ending and swaps it out for a three-prompt round, where two players are pitted against each other, and can provide three answers to a prompt such as “The three steps to have a perfect little morning.” Each answer is read out one at a time, giving players more of a sense of timing and presentation to their answers. Plus, it’s over pretty quickly in something of an anti-climax. It’s fine! But having so many answers to one prompt can drive home how difficult it is for your group to be funny. In previous Quiplashes, players would compete to fill in prompts against each other, only for everyone to get the same prompt in the final round. However, this version does something crucial: it fixes the godawful endgame. Quixort, Quixort, gotta drop another block.Quiplash is one of Jackbox’s classic games, so putting in a third version feels like a cheat to raise the pack’s average quality. Quixort, Quixort gotta drop another block.Ĭonversation helps you lock in that streakīut do it quick, there's no time for critique Stack'em up, squeeze em tight, gotta drop another block! To the left, to the right, gotta drop another block. Slip it fast, time is short, gotta drop another block. At the end of all three rounds, who has the most points in the team is revealed the winner.Ĭredits Song Quixort, Quixort, gotta drop another block. The same happens to the second team, and then the total score of the two teams for the round is shown. Thirdly, when a block is incorrect in the prompt and it should have been destroyed in the trash (resulting in the team missing out on the Quixort bonus), or when the block is far from the right spot, the team does not get points for this. The second is when the block is close to the right spot in the sorting - this gives 250 points, but if the further order is correct, then 500 points are added for each block (in the game this is called "Streak").The first is when the block is in the right spot, for which 1000 points are awarded. There are three things that determine how many points a team will get in the end: When the first team finishes the round, the "Quixover" begins, it shows how accurately the players have sorted. In the final round there is an opportunity for not one, but two chances to sort the prompt correctly. In the second round there are fake blocks that can be destroyed in the trash (in the game they are on the side to the left and right). Game Consoles: Oldest Console - Newest Console). In the first round you have to sort things based on a prompt (ex. Only three rounds, when a new round begins, the team has a choice between an already known prompt, where it shows what needs to be sorted and what category it is in, or a "Mystery Prompt", where it is unknown what kind of prompt it is. This is a game like Poll Mine, where you work together with your team. (ii) an alternative solution was considered and Mathematica preferred for specific reasons ("it was the only software we could afford or that was available to tackle the job", is not a valid reason to qualify the application as real-world, according to this definition) a commercial product was sold, or consulting fee earned) and By "real-world" I mean specifically applications in which: In any event I am looking for counter-examples of real-world applications to refute my hypothesis about Mathematica. In these areas, it seems to me, Mathematica is like a Swiss Army Knife: sure you can use it to dabble in almost anything but I have screwdrivers, knives and corkscrews that do a better job for their specific purpose. In both these cases, however, there is no standard, specialized alternative offering in the field of risk management, as there are, for example, in engineering, CAD, app design, or music. Likewise, I am somewhat familiar with Phil Zecker's work at EQA Partners, where he produced an outstanding risk management solution using Mathematica. In my own work, I have used Mathematica to price complex derivatives products, a field in which it excels. I am aware of applications where the use of Mathematica is fully justified. To take one such customer story from the field of 3D CAD, I don't understand why anyone would prefer to use Mathematica for such a task, rather than a specialist product like Solidworks. But why would you, when there are much better alternatives available?". And, in general, when I look at the examples cited by Wolfram in its "customer stories", my reaction to many of them is: "Sure, you can use Mathematica to do that. In my own work in finance, for instance, it has generally proved much less useful than other products such as Matlab. But I have noticed that, in practice, Mathematica somehow fails to live up to its apparently unlimited potential for encapsulating creative thought-product across an almost unlimited span of human intellectual endeavor. I don't want this conjecture to be true: I'm as much a buyer of the hype around Mathematica as the next man. the speculative endeavors of a fertile, creative intellect might readily be mistaken for actual (scientific) achievement by less agile minds.) (Of course, one man's dilettantism is another man's New Kind of Science: i.e. I have a theory, which I am in the process of writing about in a blog post, that other than in applications in mathematics (symbolic logic), Mathematica's primary usefulness is in encouraging a kind of intellectual dilettantism. In any event, I am interested in hearing about other real-life applications. The only "real-world" application that meets the specified criteria offered so far (twice) has been Wolfram Alpha (I am not entirely sure that it meets the second criterion - would you choose to develop WA in WL, if you didn't have a bunch of WL experts and a WL development platform at your disposal?). I originally posted this on Stack Exchange, where it was suggested it would more appropriately be posted here. After years of shrinking balance sheets, more confidence in the UK’s economic outlook and more construction activity should enable more lending. UK banks have suffered from a partially deserved 10 year bear market and trade at materially lower valuations than US peers despite having equally good balance sheet strength and future earnings potential. We have identified four potential beneficiaries of Bojonomics: So in increasingly politically driven financial markets, how should investors be positioned? Clearly a stronger pound will boost the attractiveness of domestic businesses and be to the potential detriment of the USD earners, witness the 4% spike in the more domestically focused FTSE-250 index on Friday. Likewise the years of ineffectual and fractious coalition government are hopefully behind us. The majority of business leaders we have spoken to considered Corbyn to a be greater risk than Brexit and most say they can plan for any eventuality as long as they know what it is. At least businesses, consumers and government can now begin to plan accordingly. Near term certainty has undoubtedly increased but longer term post-Brexit uncertainty is now arguably greater. With the pound trading at three years highs, it is safe to say that global investors suddenly have more confidence in the UK and its outlook. Red wall no more, UK election results 2019 source BBC: Such plans will no doubt be assisted by the wave of new Tory MPs in the likes of Grimsby, Redcar, Scunthorpe, Stockton, Wakefield and Warrington South. Most rail and road infrastructure in the UK runs north to south and it is vital to be able to link major port cities such as Liverpool and Manchester with Hull and Teeside as well as population hubs like Leeds-Bradford. One project more likely to proceed could be the “Northern Powerhouse Rail”. But if Boris is true to his promises then someone will have to “drive a JCB over his dead body” in order to build a third Heathrow runway, whilst the white elephant that is HS2 will also need a decision soon and could be similarly dead in the water. Infrastructure will undoubtedly be at the core of any planned fiscal stimulus as Sajid Javid seeks to spur a stuttering UK economy especially with Brexit now looming within six weeks. Boris was also straight on the phone to Nicola Sturgeon (an entertaining call no doubt) stating the Government would not allow a Scottish referendum for another five years, although much will depend on the next Holyrood elections. The NHS funding plans, whilst perhaps stolen from Labour’s playbook, could well be enacted as soon as this week with a “£33.9bn a year by 2023-24” funding settlement expected to be passed into law. Promises are of course easier to make than deliver but like Donald Trump, Boris is used to wasting no time. BoJo referred to votes lent rather than earnt and immediately promised to reward his new Northern voting base and swathe of new Northern MPs by throwing the kitchen sink at the NHS and unleashing the Northern Powerhouse. Boris was notably humble in his victory speech, in stark contrast to Nicola Sturgeon who was promptly seen dancing on Jo Swinson’s East Dunbartonshire grave. Champagne socialists beware, perhaps the Conservatives will truly become the party of the people.īoris Johnson and vote-leave architect Dominic Cummings are under no illusions that the Tories’ simple but no-nonsense message on Brexit, “Get Brexit Done” was largely responsible for the swing. Double digit swings from Labour in the likes of Dudley North and Great Grimsby now make these seats some of the “safest” Tory majorities at 20-30% whilst upmarket trendy parts of London such as Putney amazingly turned red. Blue collar workers (catchily named C2) in traditional Labour heartlands defected to the Tories in droves. Voting demographics have literally been turned on their head. whilst currency and financial markets have gradually been pricing in a Conservative election victory, the scale of Friday’s majority and the extent to which the blue wave washed over the red wall was something to behold. |
